From an idea to a finished product.

Since that first scarf experiment, the design has gone through multiple rounds of development and sampling.

We tested different constructions, worked with different manufacturers, refined the fit and application method, selected our mulberry silk supplier, and chose our manufacturing partner.

The final sample is now complete and ready for production.

It started with a scarf.

The idea began on a girls’ trip with a friend who has beautiful, full, curly hair.

Every night, the rest of us would be ready for bed while she was still trying to get all of her hair into her bonnet. Gathering it, twisting it, stuffing it through the opening, adjusting it, then trying again when something didn’t sit right.

By the third night, I looked at one of my scarves and thought there had to be an easier way.

I used the scarf to create a simple alternative. Instead of gathering all of her hair and pushing it into a traditional bonnet, she could pull the fabric over her hair and secure it.

It took seconds.

That small moment became the beginning of a new way to think about the bonnet.

A simpler way to get ready for bed.

Bonnets are meant to protect hair overnight, but putting one on can sometimes feel harder than it should.

So we started with one question:

What if putting on a bonnet could be easier?

That led to a sleeve-inspired design created to make the process faster, simpler, and more intuitive.

Pull over. Secure. Done!

This is only the beginning.

The bonnet is the first step toward building a premium nighttime hair-care brand focused on making beauty routines feel simpler, more thoughtful, and more luxurious.
